1. How do I pay the application fee?

I.FOR Master of FINANCE and CONTROL:

a) Your application form will be processed only if accompanied by necessary payment through bank draft.
b) In order to apply online or offline you should make Demand Draft of Rs.500/- in favour of Comptroller of Finance, Utkal University as fee for application and entrance
c) Last date for issue and submission of application form is 25th June 2012. Before proceeding for filling up on-line application form, the candidate should have made payment through Demand Draft and provide details in the application form of your payment.

II.FOR M.Tech(Computer Science) :

a) Your application form will be processed only if accompanied by necessary payment through bank draft.
b) Two Bank drafts (i) of Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred fifty only) drawn in favour of "Director, School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, Utkal University" payable at any nationalised bank located at Bhubaneswar towards the entrance examination expenses (ii) of Rs. 150/- (Rupees one hundred fifty only) drawn in favour of "Comptroller of Finance, Utkal University" payable at any nationalised bank located at Bhubaneswar.

III.FOR M.Sc (Computer Science):

a) Your application form will be processed only if accompanied by necessary payment through bank draft.
b)Two Bank drafts (i) of Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred fifty only) drawn in favour of "Director, School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, Utkal University" payable at any nationalised bank located at Bhubaneswar towards the entrance examination expenses (ii) of Rs. 150/- (Rupees one hundred fifty only) drawn in favour of "Comptroller of Finance, Utkal University" payable at any nationalised bank located at Bhubaneswar.

2. What is the Last Date of Submission /deadline?

I. The last date of submission of online and offline application form into P.G. Regular, Sponsored & U.G.C. Innovative Courses is: 30th.June.2012

II. The last date of submission of online and offline application form into B.Tech & M.E Courses is : 10th.July.2012

III. Date of entrance Test for 2-year M. Tech. (Computer Science) : 4th July 2012.

IV. Date of entrance Test for 5 -Year Integrated M.C.A : 11th July 2012. Online

IV. Date of entrance Test for 2- Year M.Sc. (Computer Science) : 9th July 2012.

V. Last date of submission of the application form for M.Tech.(Comp. Sc.)/M.Sc.(Comp. Sc.)/5 Yr Integrated MCA is: 30th June, 2012

VI. Last date for issue and submission of application form for M.F.C is : 25th June 2012

VII. Date of entrance Test for M.F.C. : 3rd.July.2012

3. What should I do after submitting on-line application ?

After submitting just take a print out of the Print form page.Then put your signature and date in appropriate place,attach the required essential enclosers with the print form described in the it and finally post it to the corresponding department by SPEED POST/REGISTERD POST.

4. What are the requirements for online admission?

You should have make Demenad Draft/Direct Deposit decided by corresponding Department before you apply as the Draft number/Journal number has to be entered in the online application form
You must have an email address to fill up the form
Next thing you should have a printer to print the application form.

5. Can i apply offline ?: Yes,you can.To apply offline go to www.utkaluniversity.ac.in and download the offline form

6. When will I be notified of my Entrance Exam?: All the details about the Entrance Exam of all departments in Utkal University will be published in University Homepage i.e. www.utkaluniversity.ac.in

7. what if i lost my 19 digit password ?: It is strictly recommended to keep your 19 digit password in a safe place from where it can not be deleted as it is required as credential to reprint your online application form.But if it is lost please contact to our helpline number and after required verification 19 digit password will be resent to your email address.

9. Can i apply for online form without having any email address ?: No,You must have an email address to apply for online form as the password will be sent to that given email address.

10. What will i do if i failed to print my form after filling up the online application form ?: No need to worry about,you can print your filled online application form anytime just by providing the 19th digit password sent to your email address.To reprint your online application form click HERE.

11. what if i have not taken any honours subject ?: If you have not taken any Honours subject leave the Space for Hons. Subject BLANK.

12. What is journal number ?: Journal Number is a 9-digit e-Payment number which a candidate will get after paying desired amount with prescribed banks. The main reason in introducing this Journal Number procedure in many Government Recruitments to fill online applications because paying the same in form of Checks or Demand Draft (DD) will charge the commission amount which is more to common candidate. To avoid these extra charges, journal number itself useful to credit the amount directly to bank accounts. Only few banks will charge processing amount in getting Journal Number.

13. What are the requirements for offline admission?

It is quite same as Online form fill up requirement.
You should have make Demenad Draft/Direct Deposit before you apply as the Draft number/Journal number has to be entered in the online application form.
But here email address is optional.

14. How will i get my admit card ?: You will find admit card on Utkal University.Just enter your password and download your admit card.
